Our Mission of Service
At Shady Grove Baptist Church, we believe that serving others is a vital expression of our faith. We strive to be the Hands and Feet of Jesus, actively engaging in mission work and community service. Community Outreach
We regularly organize community service projects that allow our congregation to connect with and support those in need. Whether it’s providing food, clothing, or assistance to local families, our church is committed to making a difference in Franklin Parish and surrounding areas, as well as further away.
Mission Trips
One of the highlights of our service efforts is our mission trips. Recently, several of our church members traveled to Hammond, LA, to participate in a Christmas Mission Trip. We have worked together to feed and clothe the homeless in Houston, TX, as well as bringing much-needed supplies to the less fortunate in South Dakota. These trips provide opportunities for our members to work in the mission field, sharing God’s love and support with those who need it most. We encourage our congregation to pray for those involved in these missions, as they embody our commitment to serving others.
Worship and Fellowship
Service is not just about outreach; it’s also about coming together as a community to worship and grow in faith. Our Sunday services provide a space for reflection and inspiration.
